OBITUARY: Menomonee Falls News Jan. 20, 1911 "Former Citizen Dies. At Waukesha, last Sunday, occured the death of William Minor at the home of his son, George of paralysis at the advanced age of 87 years Mr. Minor was a pioneer of Menomonee coming here in 1840 from Albany, N. Y. and was a resident of the town up to 1788 (sic) when he went to Waukesha to live with his son.
His wife died three years ago. The funeral was held Tuesday at 2 o'clock from the residence with interment at Prairie Home Cemetery. Rev. W. A. Billings of the Baptist church officiating."
