Harvey Isaac 'Piker' Snow played on the Montpelier Locomotives NWOAL Champion football team in 1928 (he was called 'Piker' by his coach and team mates because he never quit). He suffered from a broken leg in his senior year at high school and had to return the following year to complete his schooling. Harvey spent some time out west in the CCC at camps in California and Montana and was also an airplane pilot. He died too young of tuberculosis in the Detwiler Hospital at Wauseon. I wish I could have had the chance to have known him.
