Gpuverneur - Mrs. Calesta M. Hull, widow of the late Emory Hull, died at 7 o'clock Tuesday morning at the age of 82 years at the home of her brother, Harlow Collins, in South street in this village. She came here from the town of Fowler two weeks ago for a short visit and had been ill since Tuesday morning, July 6, when she failed to arise in the morning and was found to be suffering from a shock.
Mrs. Hull was born in Gouverneur, May 30, 1833, the daughter of Benjamin and Betsy Foster Collins and had always resided in this immediate vicinity. Mr. Hull's death occurred four years ago. She is survived by one son, Spencer Hull of Hailesboro; one daughter, Mrs. Albert Scott of Antwerp, and two brothers, Harlow W. Collins of this village and Charles F. Collins of Berlin, NY.
The funeral was held this afternoon from the home of her son, Spencer Hull, in Hailesboro at 2 o'clock, Rev. William F. Skinner, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of this village, officiating. Burial was made in the Hailesboro cemetery.
