Doris Nadine Aliff, 80, of Chesapeake, died May 18, 2008, at home.
She was a retired schoolteacher from the Kanawha County Board of Education after serving all three Chesapeake Elementary Schools for 27 years. She also taught in Boone County Schools for three years.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Morris Harvey College in 1962.
She was preceded in death by husband, Earl, on June 15, 1981; parents, Horace Guy Little and Eliza Pearl Martin
and brothers, Wesley Doyle Little and Norman Dale Little;
Surviving are son, Onas Earl Aliff of Morgantown; daughter, Doris Jeanne Hudnall O'Neal Sherling Aliff ; sisters, Louise Kirk of Albuquerque, N.M., Maxine Brame of Amarillo, Texas, Katherine Little of Delaware, Ok., Delores Little of Ada, Ok.; brother, Bobby Joe Little of Albuquerque, N.M.; grandchildren, Timothy and Christopher Aliff, Anthony and Judy Hudnall and Joseph O'Neal; and great-grandchildren, Stephen Earl Hudnall, Joseph and Courtney O'Neal and Autumn Aliff and Hunter Wilson.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 22, at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, with the Rev. Don Toler officiating. Burial will follow in Williams Mountain Cemetery, Prenter. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
