Mr. Adamson, of Salina, Kansas, was born to Lenard Roy Adamson and the former Dorothy Belle McConnell. He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp, serving in Germany, Panama Canal and the United States. He received the Bronze Star for bravery. He served in the National Guard while living in Pittsburg, where he worked in maintenance for Pittsburg State University. He was an active member of Lighthouse and Cornerstone Churches in Pittsburg and the Living Water Worship Center in Salina.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lenard, and a brother, Gary Adamson.
