C. O. Dunken, of Nelson, Neb., died at St. Francis Hospital this morning at 1 o'clock of typhoid fever. He was brought to the institution on account of his sickness from his home, but his condition was so serious that recovery was hardly expected. Mr. Dunken was 22 years of age and a number of relatives were at his bedside when he passed away. The remains were sent home this morning at 7 o'clock on the St. Joe & Grand Island.

Clifford O. Duncan who has been in a hospital at Grand Island died Tuesday morning. The remains were brought here Tuesday evening and were laid to rest in the Ox Bow Cemetery yesterday afternoon at three o'clock. Deceased leaves a wife and a child, a boy eleven months.
