Tuesday morning, April 24th, Mrs. W.R. Adams died at her home near Kibbee, and her death take her community a good woman, one loved and esteemed by a large circle of friends, and from the saddened home its dearest loved one and truest friend. Mrs. Adams was a sister of Hon. C.S. Hamilton and by her marriage she was connected to another of the most prominent families in our county. Her body was interred in the Hamilton family burial grounds near her home yesterday.
Only one week before her death her son, Mr. Charles Adams was taken from his life and loved ones, and on Saturday before, her daughter, Mrs. C.S. Calhoun died at her home in Vidalia, thus three of the family have been taken from their loved ones within a few days of each other.
On Sunday morning the remains were taken to the Hamilton burying grounds, near Kibbee, and laid to await the coming of the resurrection morn.
