Miriam Southard
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Tipton-Pixley Cemetery for Miriam D. Southard, 74, Tipton, who died Saturday at a Visalia hospital.
A native of New Sharon, Iowa, Mrs. Southard came to California in 1920. In May of that year, she married Paul Southard in Redondo Beach. Southard died in 1969. Mrs. Southard moved to Tipton in 1979. She was a member of the Church of God in Astoria, Ore.
Mrs. Southard is survived by a daughter, Judith Block, Tipton; and a half-sister, Pat Hester, San Jacinto. The Rev. David B. Barnes, Tipton, will officiate.
Arrangements were made through Hadley Funeral Chapel, Visalia.
