GEORGETOWN - Mike W. Baker, 54, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998, at home after an illness.
He was born Feb. 12, 1944, in Georgetown County, a son of the late Bryce Watson Baker and Dorothy Boatwright Baker.
He was a retired construction electrician and a member of the IBEW Union, Local 776 in Charleston for 30 years. He was a graduate of Winyah High School and Hawthorne Aviation. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his stepmother, Ruth W. Baker of Georgetown; a brother, Thomas Baker of Hemingway; a stepbrother, Roger Ward of Columbia; two stepsisters, Barbara Mishoe of Greeleyville and Edna Freeman of Georgetown; and two nephews and a niece.
Visitation will be from 7-9 tonight at Graham Funeral Home of Georgetown.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
