Funeral services for Clue A. Meyerhoeffer, 61, a native of Cross Keys and well known in this section, who died last Sunday evening at 6:30 in a Baltimore hospital as a result of injuries received the day before when he fell from a ladder while painting, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from Ruck's Funeral Home in Baltimore. Burial was in Baltimore.

A son of A. J. and Mrs. Ada Meyerhoeffer, he was born at Cross Keys, Dec, 10, 1891.

About 36 years ago he married Miss Delta Phillips of Cross Keys, who survives him. He had made his home in Baltimore for the past 20 years and prior to that time had lived in Dayton, Ohio.

Meyerhoeffer was a frequent vistor in this section and leaves many friends here who mourn his passing.

Besides his wife, he is survived one son, Cluie Meyerhoeffer, of Baltimore; and two daughters, Mrs. Liah Meyerhoeffer and Mrs. Lucille Wagner, both of Baltimore. He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. T. H. Pirkey, and Mrs. David Kline, of Harrisonburg; Jesse Meyerhoeffer of Cross Keys; Mrs. Zada Ferick, of Santa Rosa, Calif.; Raymond Meyerhoeffer, of Dayton, Ohio; and Tommy Meyerhoeffer, of Washington.

Those attending the funeral included: Mrs. T. H. Pirkey, and Mrs. David Kline, of Harrisonburg; Raymond Meyerhoeffer, of Dayton, Ohio; and Vernon Meyerhoeffer, of Philadelphia.
