Stone is broken. Vanishing Ancestors, Volume 1 (1975) lists the same "age" and states the stone belongs to Nancy G. Edens. The stone was described as broken in the 1975 publication and evidently has broken further since then, as no name is currently evident on the stone.
She is likely the daughter of Gertrude L. McGirt and William John Nelson Edens. In the 1900 census NC/Robeson/Maxton, Gertrude McGirt Edens is listed as having given birth to 9 children but only 4 were alive in 1900. No Nancy Edens is listed in the 1900 census in Robeson County NC and thus she likely was born and died between the 1880 census and the 1900 census.
