This information above the row of asterisks comes from someone very familiar with the POST genealogy. I received this information in February of 2014.

Below the row of asterisks is just various unauthenticated information I received from non POST genealogist sources.
I knew the stone for Sydney Leo Post's mother said ALEENE. I only remarked on the other spellings as I saw several different spellings in various places. Sometimes the stone is wrong; sometimes the cemetery roster is wrong; sometimes the obit is wrong, and sometimes the death certificate is wrong. I just think it helps to find the person If I clarify that there were different spellings. Her name was Allene, Alleen, or Aleene Post, depending on who spelled it. I think we can settle on ALEENE.
Buried at foot of his mother's grave is what one source said.

Regarding the photo of the back of Aleene Post's stone with a flag and some dirt, and the comment that there was no evidence of a grave there...it may have been just his ashes which would not be apparent in the soil, especially not 57 years later.
