Services held for Mrs. Anna Clark

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Clark were held Friday, January 24, 1964 at the Eyler Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jordan T. Jacobson officiated and burial was at Clarion Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. Anna Borel Shunkwiler Clark was born April 2, 1890 in Wright County to James and Mary Borel.

She was united in marriage to Floyd Shunkwiler and to this union two sons were born; Cecil and Barney and two daughters; Fern and Elizabeth.

She was remarried to Joseph Clark and to this union one son, Joseph, was born.

Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husbands and one son, Cecil.

Mrs. Clark passed away at the Askvig Nursing Home now the Taylor Nursing home at Eagle Grove Wednesday, January 22; she had been a patient here for the past two years.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Chris McDermott of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Leo Clark of Rochester, Minnesota and Mrs. Elizabeth Tilton of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Elsie Shunkwiler of Mason City and by two sons, Barney Clark of Mason City and Joseph Clark of Waterloo; a brother, Charles Borel of Holmes and a sister, Mrs. Rose Askvig of Goldfield, 23 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
