Funeral services for Myrtle House, 86, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2001 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Kent Greer, pastor of Flames of Pentecost Church. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. House, a native of Blackwell, OK and 60 year resident of Shreveport, LA, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2001 in Shreveport, LA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd House and son, Albert House.
Mrs. House is survived by three sons, Andy House of Chandler, IN, Alfred House and wife Hazel of Ruston, LA and Lloyd House and wife Sue of DeRidder, LA, three daughters, Winnie Butler and husband Billy and Rosie Stuart, all of Shreveport, LA and Eileen Nugent and husband Larry of Keithville, LA; twenty-four grandchildren and thirty-four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James House, Michael House, Ray Cannon, Joe Stuart, Jeff Stuart and Stacey Butler.
