Theodore Arthur Darling, the son of George and Mary Darling was born in Gipsun, Kansas on October 29, 1890. In early manhood he was converted and united with the Church of the Brethern at Holland, Kansas to which he remained a member the rest of his life. He was united in marriage to Cora May Hartman, November 16, 1910. Three children were born to this union. In 1941 the Darlings came to Missouri and settled near Seymour where they have made their home since. He is survived by his companion of the home, three daughters, Mrs. Henrietta Mauldin, Delta, Colorado; Mrs. Rosetta White, Abilene, Kansas; and Mrs Irene Zimmerman of Seymour, Missouri; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren along with other relatives and his many friends.

He was a loving compainion, a compassionate father, a good neighbor and friend, a dedicated Christian. His love for his own, his thoghtfulness for others, his dedication to his Lord and exemplary Christian life has endeared him to his loved ones and many friends who will greatly miss him. He passed away at his home near Seymour.
Thursday morning March 18, 1971 at the age of 80 years, 4 months and 19 days.
