Services for Mr. Benton McCan, age 94, of Vick, were held in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 5, 2008. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery in Effie.
Survivors include two sons, Thurman D. McCann and John B. McCann, both of Baton Rouge, and one brother Cody McCan. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Chad McCann, Nicki McCann Broddick, and Veronica Templeton and 5 great grandchildren.
