PLATTSBURGH - Elsworth N. Matott, 78, formerly of Albany, died Friday. April 6, 1984, at the
Meadowbrook Nursing Home where he had lived for the past six years.
He was born in Champlain July 30, 1905, the son of Napoleon and Bessie (Ashland) Matott.
He lived most his life in the Albany area.
He leaves a daughter, Betty; two sons, Elsworth Matott Jr. and Harold Matott of Albany; seven sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Ross of Lake Placid, Mrs. Bertha Ashline and Mrs. Dorothy Meigs, both of Plattsburgh, Mrs. Helen Wells of West Chazy, Mrs. Andrew (Gretrude)
Mesick of Mooers, Mrs. Emma Benson of Florida and Mrs. Florence Nunno of Port Chester; a brother, Richard Matott of Palmyra; and several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The R.W. Walker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
