She was married to Albert Merbaugh about 1932 and was divorced. he died in 1939. She later married Harold Joseph Higgins August 12, 1942, at Cumberland, Allegany Co, MD. he died 15 July 1979. Violet died at Moran Manor Care home in Westernport is Sept 1997. She had no children.
