Janice A. Little, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and "Lady" passed away the morning of June 7th, 2008 at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah due to complications from treatment for Cancer.




Janice was born November 2, 1933 to M. Anton Andrus and Edna Dee Hamblin. Janice grew up in Draper, UT, and graduated from Jordan High School. She later went on to attend Stevens Henager School of Business.





She is survived by her husband, David E. Little; two sons, Steve and Vance Beckstead and their spouses; twelve grandchildren and spouses; and four great-grandchildren; brother, A. Marlon Andrus; sister, Rhonda Thomas; she is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Boyd R. Beckstead; and her daughter, Tamara Madill.




Janice worked at the IFA in Draper for many years, later retired from working at Deseret Book in Sandy. She then went on to the Jordan School District offices where she worked as a secretary until just before her passing. She held many church callings including planning activities, teaching, and serving as choir director off and on for over 30 years. Janice loved music, family, BYU sports, and dancing with her husband. She and her husband took in numerous international exchange students over the years. She was a mother and grandmother to all. Everyone was welcome.




A Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 11th from 6-8 p.m. at the Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street in Midvale, and on Thursday, June 12th, 2008 beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Crescent 3rd Ward Chapel, 949 East 10600 South in Sandy, followed by the Funeral Services at 1 p.m.
Interment will be at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy.
