Beloved daughter of the late Gabriele & Luisa Aceti she passed away peacefully Fraser, Michigan. She was born in Seaview, Washington and moved to Detroit 81 years ago. Mary retired after 43 years of teaching at Denby High School, and served as Alumni President for many years. She also started the AYAH and took 20 students from Denby High School to Europe. She was one of the founders of the Italian Cultural Society and taught Italian language classes at Denby. She worked for 35 years with her students at the Art Institute for the George Pierrot World Adventure Travel Series. She was a loving aunt and friend who will be sadly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gabriele and Louisa Aquino Aceti, twin sister Teresa Aceti Sampognaro, brothers John Aceti and Louie Aceti, and nephew John Wallace Ford. She is survived by nieces and nephews a sister-in-law and by 11 great-nieces and four great-nephews, seven great-great-nieces and four great-great-nephews.
