Virginia met and married Carl Leon Rhodus, in Taos, N.M. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and going to rodeos. Virginia's greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Virginia is survived by her children: Tom Rhodus, of Denver, Colo. and Nancy (Mike) Daily, of Carte Lake, Iowa; one sister Shirley Helmick, of Pahrump, Nev.; one grandson, Jason Daily, of Papillion, Neb. Preceding her in death are her parents, Cloyd Harvey and Loretta Catherine; her husband, Carl; one brother, Jack Willis; and two sisters, Dorothy Willis and Patty Zimmer.
Viewing will be held Tues., July 24, 2007 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. A funeral service to honor and celebrate her life will be held Wed., July 25, 2007 at 10 a.m. at the Center United Methodist Church with interment to follow at the Monte Vista Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the directions of Strohmayer's Funeral Home of Monte Vista, Colo.
