Mrs. Martha A. Lease
Foley, Minn. - Mrs. Martha A. Lease, 75, of here, died Feb. 12 at the St. Cloud Nursing Home. She was born June 27, 1897, in Brockway Township, Stearns County, and married Ralph Lease Nov. 11, 1919, in St. Cloud. They farmed in St. George Township until 1958 when they retired and moved here. Her husband died in 1972.
Mrs. Lease is survived by sons and daughters, Norman J,. Foley: Eugene, Falls, Iowa; Mrs. Earl (Margie) Lutton, Ankeny, Iowa; and Mrs. Robert (Julia) Ryan, Arcadia, Calif.; brother and sister, Mrs. Alfred (Cel) Landwehr, St. Cloud and John Peschl, Sauk Rapids; 22 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services are at 10m Wednesday at St. John's Church with the Rev. Victor Kinzer officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steven, William and Michael Lease, Barton Lutton, Patrick Ryan and William Landwehr.
Friends may call at the Foley Funeral Home after 3p.m. today. St. John's Parish will say the parish prayers at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
