Kathy Jo Ard, 4062 Roberts Port Road, Nancy, died suddenly Wednesday, Nov. 16, 1994, the result of an automobile accident. She was 37.
A Pulaski County native, she was born Sept. 14, 1957, daughter of Nelva Muse Blanton, Nancy, and the late William T. Roy. She was an employee of Hamilton Contractors and Tarter and Roy Contractors; co-director of pulaski County Chapter of East Kentucky Tutorial Program; and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother and her stepfather, Jim Blanton, Nancy; her husband, Lowell Gene Ard; two sons, Michael Garner and Mark Ard, both of Nancy; two stepdaughters, Shellie Light and Missie Ard, both of Nancy; a sister, Jeania Lynn (and Jeff)Hall, Somerset; a stepbrother, Jerry Blanton, Nancy; a stepsister, Tracy Blanton, Burnside; maternal grandparents, Marcus and Dorothy Flynn Muse, Nancy; paternal grandparents, Lee and Imogene Harris Roy, Nancy; and several aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with the Revs. Dale Osman and Lloyd Williamson officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
