Funeral services for Willie Mae "Nana" Touchstone, 81, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2001 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Eddie Dehondt, assisted by Randy Graves, Mrs. Touchstone's grandson. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2001 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Touchstone, a native of Alberta, La and resident of Shreveport, LA since 1952, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2001 in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond B. Touchstone, parents, Willie and Pearl Bishop and sister, Hazel B. Smith.

Mrs. Touchstone is survived by her sister, Myrtle Perkins and husband, Grady of Nederland, TX; two sons, W. Joseph Touchstone, M.D. of Manlius, NY and Tim Touchstone and wife, Mary Beth of Shreveport, LA; two daughters, Myrna Touchstone of Shreveport, LA and Judy Graves and husband, Morris of Shreveport, LA; five grandchildren, Jason Touchstone, Mandy Touchstone Sullivan and husband, Jason, Kim Graves Pellegrin and husband, Ray, Suzie Graves Head and husband, Mike, and Randy Graves and wife, Laura; three great grandchildren Adam Head, Erin Head, and Madison Graves; and a host of other family members.

Pallbearers will be Jason Touchstone, Jason Sullivan, Mike Head, Bill Smith, Fred Rodgers, and Bob Hughes

The family suggests memorials may be made to the Glen Oaks Retirement Home or to HMC Hospice.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Glen Oaks Retirement Home and HMC Hospice for the loving care given to our mom.
