BENTONVILLE - Betty Ruth Sutorius, 76, of Bentonville died May 20, 2008, at her home. She was born July 28, 1931, in Summers to Mary V. Whitmire and Benjamin B. Hollowell.
She enjoyed planting tomatoes, traveling, quilting and was baptized in the Missionary Baptist Church. She moved to Northwest Arkansas two years ago from California.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a grandchild.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia L. Snow of San Marcos, Calif., Deborah L. Charmley and husband Thomas of Othello, Wash.; three sisters, Alta Hammons, Frances Thomas and Vassa Underdown; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Epting Funeral Home in Bentonville, [email protected].
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale with Chaplain Chuck Bengtson officiating.
