Richard A. Casey, of Edina, died November 8, 2003. He was born July 6, 1924 in Minneapolis. He was a decorated Purple Heart and awarded the Bronze Star in WWII; part of the 104th (Timberwolf) Infantry Division, Company G, U.S. Army. Preceded in death by his parents, John & Esther; brother, Jack. Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Charmaine; three children and seven grandchildren. Family and friends will miss his optimistic outlook, his Irish wit and his support. Mass of Christian Burial: Our Lady of Grace Church, Edina. Interment: Fort Snelling.
