1870 Federal Census taken 8/4/1870, for Grand Chenier P. O., Cameron Parish, LA:
Nancy A. Harvey, age 28, b. SC;
Mary A. Harvey, female, age 11, b. TX;
Lavina Harvey, female, age 9, b. TX;
William Harvey, male, age 3, b. LA;
George Harvey, male, age 1, b. LA.

Texas DC reveals father to have been Monroe Colvin. It is believed that this was an error made by the "informant". Research has revealed the father to be Thomas Alexander Colvin. Lavina's father-in-law was Robert Monroe Churchwell. This could be where the "Monroe" came from. I've never been able to locate a Monroe Colvin.
