My Uncle, Martin Thomas (center at left) was the third youngest of the six Thomas children. He was named after his father and was referred to as "Junior" while he was growing up. His brother and sisters were Dorothy, Marguerite, Laura Mae, Helen, and Robert.
Martin was retired from the U.S. Navy and he proudly served in World War II. The attached photo, with Martin in the center was taken at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. After retiring from the Navy, Martin worked at a major department store in the Philadelphia area as a heating/air conditioning technician. He developed an interest in photography during his Navy years and had his own photography and photo finishing business in South Jersey.
About 1990, Martin retired again and relocated to Deltona Florida. In 1994, Martin passed away leaving a son Ross, Sisters Helen and Marguerite and many loving nieces and nephews.
