She was born in Belpre, Ohio on August 14, 1916 a daughter of the late James W. Deem and Mary O. McHenry Deem. Ruth was a former member of Calvary Memorial Church and currently Cornerstone Baptist Church. Ruth was loved by all that knew her. She was always ready with a helping hand and a loving heart. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by two sons and daughter in laws: Donald W. and Mary Pearson of Parkersburg, Dwight and Sandy Pearson of Chippewa Falls, Wis. two daughters and son in laws: Connie and Bud Cullum of Parkersburg and Barbara and Jim Christain of South Point, Ohio, one sister: Frances Summers of Little Hocking, Ohio, 14 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, most of whom affectionately called her BOP, also survinving are three sister in laws: Virginia Deem, Thelma Malloy and Lillian Horner.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband:William B. Pearson, two sisters: Beulah Hoyler and Lena Rice, two brothers: Eugene Deem and Frederick Deem.
Services 11AM Thursday December 28th at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Mark Wilding and Pastor Rick Kapple officiating. Burial In Evergreen Cemetery North. Visitation Wednesday 2-8 PM.
