Mrs. Frances Hubbs, mother of Mrs. L. L. Ellis, died at the home of her daughter
in this city Wednesday evening. She was in her 84th year and as she had been
in very poor health for several years her death was not unexpected. She was a
member of the Christian church and a devout christian.
Funeral services were held at the M. E. church Thursday afternoon, conducted by
Rev. M. W. Sampson and Rev. J. S. Krehbiel after which the remains were laid at
rest in the Geary cemetery.
