Lorene Evelyn Vickers of Collinsville, passed away Monday, April 21, 2008 in Owasso, OK. She was 88. Lorene was born October 9, 1919 in Stillwater to Robert Elton and Edith (Pettit) Miller. She met and married William Link Vickers and together they raised four children. They moved to the Collinsville area in 1951 having moved from Drumright. William preceded her in death in 1981. Lorene enjoyed reading and formerly played the piano in church. She loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by many. Lorene is survived by 4 Children; 4 Sisters; 1 Brother; 12 Grandchildren; 18 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild; numerous Nieces and Nephews, family and friends.
Visitation: Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Collinsville Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2008 at Miracles of Faith in Collinsville with Rev. Jim Carney officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery.
