Charlene Beth Frey, 94, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart.
She was born March 17, 1914, in Pratt County, to Millard and Anna Bisset Helsel.
On Jan. 21, 1935, she married Frank O. Frey. He died March 25, 1989. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Iona Hardesty; and four brothers, Lawrence, Clay, Lavere and Donald Helsel.
A Satanta resident since 1935, moving from Pratt County, Mrs. Frey was a homemaker and helped with the farm. She attended Pleasant Prairie Church of God and was a past member of the Sunshine Club. Her hobbies included gardening, taking care of her pets, arts and crafts, needle work and she was an avid reader.
Graveside services were at Dudley Township Cemetery, Satanta.
