Mrs. Augusta Ann Brubaker, widow of Ellis Brubaker, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Sheeler, at Coburn, at 6;53 o'clock Sunday evening, death being due to an abscess of the lung following an illness of one week. She was born in Allegheny township, March 26, 1851. Her husband died thirteen years ago. She was a member of Carson Valley Church of the Brethren. She is survived by eight children: Charles of Akron, OH, Mrs. Mary Willemin of Chicago, Mrs. William Myers of Carrolltown, Jacob A. of St. Benedict, Irvin C., Brice I., Mrs. Irvin Shoenfelt and Mrs. Charles Sheeler, all of Altoona. She also leaves twenty-three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers, David Plowman of Corl, PA, and John Plowman of Carson Valley, and the following sisters, Mrs. Kate Brubaker of Carson Valley, Mrs. Mary Closson of Gallitzin, Mrs. Amanda Brubaker of Altoona, Mrs. Susan Stoner and Mrs. Clara Myers, also of this city. The remains will be removed to the home of the daughter,, Mrs. Irvin Shoenfelt of 3006 Walnut Avenue.
