Command Sergeant Major James Ronald Crick, U. S. Army (Ret.), 71, of Columbia died on October 19, 2002 at NHC Hillview Health Care. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Doug McCandless and Rev. Oliver Pantall officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Lawrence County native was the son of the late William Porter and Ethel Elnora (Littrell) Crick and was a retired security supervisor from General Electric Company. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary (Parker) Crick; his daughter, Pamela Sue Shubert of Arrington; his sisters, Helen Ruth Moredock of Hermitage, Joyce Jean Fisher of Nolensville, and Mary Ella Crabtree of Lewisburg; his brother, William Jessie Crick of Rockport, Texas; and two grandchildren.
