Mrs. Artie Sartain Ables, wife of A. J. Ables, died at the family home in the Eden community Wednesday, August 20th. Interment at Weaver Cemetery Friday. She was born in Robertson County, Texas December 26, 1855, the daughter of John and Jane Pierce Sartain. She married A. J. Ables April 21, 1873, who with children: Mrs. R. C. LeMay, San Angelo, Martin, Guy and Glen Ables of Terrell; one sister, Mrs. Mattie R. Killingsworth, Independence, Kansas; one brother, J. W. Sartain, Mill Creek, Oklahoma survives. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
