Alvin W. Kaeser, 82, of Sheboygan, died Monday afternoon, June 16, 2008 at St. Nicholas Hospital.
Alvin was born May 19, 1926 in Kiel, WI to Fred and Lillian (Dickman) Kaeser. His mother married Daniel Moths when Alvin was a youngster and the family moved to a farm in the Beechwood area.
On October 11, 1947 Al and Marion Hug were united in marriage at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
For over forty years Al was employed at General Box Co. in Sheboygan, retiring in 1989 as a foreman.
In his younger years, Al enjoyed racing stock cars in Wisconsin. He was an avid sports fan who especially loved to golf and watch sporting events on television. After retirement Al and Marion enjoyed bowling in area leagues.
In addition to his wife, Marion, Al is survived by his grandson, Nick (Amy) Spettel and their children, Isaac and Ethan (and Olivia Janel on the way); his granddaughter, Stephanie (Mike) Roberts and their son, Ashton, all of Kaukauna; his son-in-law, Mike Boll and Mike's son, Mikeal of Chilton, WI; two sisters, Evelyn Brooke of Sheboygan and Mabel Meyer of Port Washington; three brothers, Marvin (Myrtle) Moths of Sheboygan, Calvin (Gerri) Moths of Arizona and Carlos (Audrey) Moths of Howards Grove; and other relatives and friends.
Al was preceded in death by his daughter, Janel, his brother, Norbert Kaeser, and his beloved dog, Blackie.
Al will always be remembered for the love and pride he held for his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
