John H. Bryant, 67, of Plainfield, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2005 in Hendricks Regional Health, Danville. He was born August 24, 1938 in Indianapolis to the late Howard and Ruth (Dunkin) Bryant. He retired from the FAA in 1993 from the electrical physics department. Since then he had been attending Marian College and Earlham College working toward his doctorate in philosophy and religion. He traveled throughout the world as a writer and speaker on international business, social business and educational philosophy. He was a US Air Force veteran. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 3, 2005 at 1:00 p.m., in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Kathe (Sommer) Bryant; son, Jeffrey C. Bryant; two grandchildren. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
