Austin O. Wilson, 75 of 903 N. 13th St. died at 8:47 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Hospital after a long illness.
He was born April 8, 1910 in Lake Springs, MO, the son of Samuel and Cora Smith Wilson. He married Ida Mae Roller in 1955. He was preceded in death by his wife.
Mr. Wilson was a former automobile service manager for Johnson and Johnson.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Vicki Tucker of Springfield and Mrs. Katherine Hickelheim of Vian Okla.; one stepson, Robert Coker of Springfield; two sisters, Ruth Wilson of Springfield and Maude Vollentine of Forrest City; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at Stults-Neece Funeral Home, Palmyra, at 1 p.m. Friday, the Rev Albert Andreasen officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
