Christian (Ann as she went by) was daughter of Jerred Sanford & Rebecca Vandebeek of Allegany co NY. She married in 1858 to Benjamin B. Allen in NY; their children: Phillip, Phoebe, Rosine, Charles, Delbert & James.
Her oldest brother Peter was one of the early pioneers to open up Isabella county and he is buried in the Riverside cemetery, his Mother,Rebecca, sister Julia Ann (Sanford ) Ward, and brother Franklin are in the Bishopville cemetery in New York . Sister, Catherine (Sanford) VanVranken & sister, Eleanor (Jane as she went by) (Sanford) Wyant are in the Salt River cemetery,
