Marilyn J. Ahlstrom, 70, Salina, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2006.
Mrs. Ahlstrom was born Marilyn Joyce McGrath on April 16, 1936, in Greenleaf. She was a retired financial planner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, on Oct. 19, 2006.
Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Martin of Jacksonville, Fla., and Diane Blagg of Kansas City, Mo.; three special children, Sing and Pheng Taponpanh of Salina and Jim Le of Emporia; two brothers, Don McGrath of Janesville, Wis., and Dan McGrath of Abilene; a sister, Evelyn Hodgson of Seattle; eight grandchildren; and eight special grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Saint Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 230 E. Cloud, Salina. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.
A vigil and rosary will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
