Albert T.Burkhart, 65, of 320 1/2 Walton Ave. died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday,Nov. 10, 1984, in Altoona Hospital, after an extended illness. Mr. Burkhart retired from the Lafferty Trucking Co. in 1970.

He was born March 21. 1919, in Altoona, the son of James and Martha (Woodring) Burkhart, and Sept. 3, 1939, in Altoona, married Hazel F. Frain. Surviving are his' wife, three daughters: Janet Hicks of Fairfield, Ohio; Geraldine Long of Lakemont and Arline Yohn of Canan Station, and five grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers: Glen of Largo, Fla., and Elmer of Villas, N.J. Also surviving is a foster sister, Inez Elder, of Buffalo Mills.

Mr. Burkhart was a life member of the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren.

He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving with the Medical Detachment, 10th Infantry.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Daniel R. Myers Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Daniel R. Myers Funeral Home. Interment In Carson Valley Cemetery.
