The July 7, 1930 edition of the Robesonian included the following: Mr. Cole Williams Dies At Rowland - Mr. Cole Williams who lived in the Centenary community near Rowland died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday after an illness of several days. He was 88 years old. Funeral services will be conducted from the home at 3 p.m. today and burial will be made in Bracey cemetery near Rowland at 3:30. Surviving are his widow and 4 children: Messrs. Will and Frank and Mrs. J. Hammonds of near Rowland and Mrs. L. H. Martin of Rowland.
