Emery E. Airy, 95, died Saturday at a hospital in Maryville.
A lifetime resident of Maryville, Mr. Airy was a former member of the city council and mayor of Maryville for several years. He was in the retail grocery business for most of his life.
Mr. Airy graduated from Maryville High School and Maryville Seminary, and was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Lions Club and Country Club.
He is survived by one brother, Oren Airy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday morning at 10:30 at the Price funeral home in Maryville. Burial will be at Miriam Cemetery.
