Pharmacist; President of Glazier Stove Company (manufacturer of stoves for cooking and heating); president of Chelsea Savings Bank; member of Michigan state senate 10th District, 1903-04; Michigan state treasurer, 1905-08; resigned 1908. Forced to resign as state treasurer in 1908; convicted of embezzlement; served two years in prison; pardoned in 1920.
