Ed Davis, 52, Rowlett, Texas. Survived by wife, Mrs. Alva Davis; seven sons, William E. Roscoe, Billie Jo, Ralph W., James E., Curtis W. and H. B. Davis; three daughters, Miss Dorothy Mae Davis, Mrs. Cora Lee Miller, Mrs. Lulabelle Edgar; three brothers, Charles, G. D. and Maughon Davis; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Burnett and Mrs. Lena Rayburn. Services Thursday with burial in Weaver Cemetery near Terrell.

The body of Ed Davis, who lived in the Rose Hill community near Mesquite, and who had been missing from his home for two weeks, was discovered in Muddy Creek east of Rowlett Tuesday. It was reported the body was found by Clarence Roan, Rowlett, while searching for strayed livestock. The autopsy was ordered. Justice of Peace, W. L. Sterrett said he estimated the man had been dead four days. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alva Davis, sevens sons, William E.; Roschoe; Billy Jo; Ralph; James E.; Curtis and H. B. Davis; three daughters, Dorothy Mae Davis; Mrs. Cora Lee Miller; Mrs. Lulabelle Edgar; three brothers, Charles, G. D. and Maughon Davis; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Burnett and Mrs. Lena Rayburn. Funeral services were held Thursday at Weaver Cemetery near Terrell.
