GALLUP — Services for Helen L. Smith, 75, will be 9 a.m. June 19, at the St. Joseph's Church in old Laguna. A rosary will be recited today, June 18, at her family house, Ruby Antonio's residence in Old Laguna.
Smith died June 16, 2008, in Albuquerque. She was born July 8, 1933, in Sheepsprings, into the Red House People Clan for the Little Water People Clan.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Smith of Gallup; daughter, Alberta Holman of Crownpoint; sister, Florence Chino of Old Laguna; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Smith was preceded in death by her brothers, Timothy Brown, Robert Brown; father, Richard Brown; mother, Helen Brown.
