Cenie married Thomas Ervin Wheatley 05 August 1906 in Wood County, Texas. They moved to Ellis County shortly after their marriage and remained there for their remaining years.

MILFORD-Funeral services for Mrs. Cenia Wheatley, 90,resident of Milford for 50 years, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church here. The Rev. Harold Poage of Milford and Minister Ardell Christian of Waxahachie will officiate.
Burial will be in Milford Cemetery.
Mrs. Wheatley was born in Alabama. She was the widow of Thomas E. Wheatley, a farmer, who died in 1941.
Survivors include six sons. Clarence Wheatley of Milford. Milton Wheatley of Slaton. Tom Wheatley of Union City Tenn., and O. E. and Raymond Wheatley and J. D. Minshew, all of Waxahachie; six daughters, Mrs. Sallie Strength of Milford. Mrs. Robert Baucom of Fort Worth, Mrs. H. E. Gaither of Dallas, Mrs. W. D. Frezzell of Union City, Tenn. Mrs. Joe Bailey of Brownsville and Mrs. Fern L. Loyd of Dallas; 30 grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
