Lewis C. Armon of 301 Crane Street, Flat River, died in Bonne Terre Hospital, Monday, October 29, 1962.

He was born in Silver Springs, Mo., a son of the late James Armon and Mary Forshee Armon, and at the time of death was aged 76 years 10 months, and 9 days.

Mr. Armon had spent the greater part of his life in this community and was a retired electrical foreman for St. Joseph Lead Co.

He was affiliated with the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Tennie, and one sister. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Carrie V. (Dalton)Moore Armon of the home address; two daughters, Ressie (Mrs. Crawford) Lewis, Winnemucca, Nev., and Nelma (Mrs. Ellis) Buscher, Bonne Terre; also three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a sister, Fannie (Mrs. Marvin) Hail [Haile ?] of Springfield, MO.

Mr. Armon will be in state at the church of Christ in Flat River, Thursday, Nov. 1, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted by Bernie Crum, and burial will be in St. Francois Memorial Park. Alvin Hood Funeral Service.

Additional Information: According to the listing I have, Tennie Armon was born May 26, 1889, and died Mar. 26, 1950, and she was the daughter of Jasper & Tennesse [Tennessee] Deatherage.
