Mrs. Sarah O. (sic) St. Gemme, of Flat River, passed away Dec. 28, 1974 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Kirkwood, being 75 years of age.
She was born Aug. 17, 1899 in Madison Co., a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Bennett.
Her husband, Samuel St. Gemme, preceded her in death in 1964.
Survivors include a son, the Rev. Darrell St. Gemme of Mattoon, IL; two daughters, Dolores (Mrs. Herman) Schaeffer of St. Louis and Mrs. John Burdick of Falls Church, VA; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Katherine Stripling of Nixa, MO.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 31, 2 p.m. at the Caldwell Chapel with the Rev. Paul Williams officiating. Interment was in St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery with Caldwell service of Flat River.
