Daughter of the late former Congressman Page Belcher and Gladys Collins Belcher, she married Clyde V. Collins on December 14, 1946. He died in 1997 She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and had served as an honorary delegate of the Republican National Convention. She was a past president of Junior Welfare League and served of the Oakwood Country Club Board of Directors. She held seven course records in golf at Oakwood Country Club and won numerous club championships. She qualified and played in the U.S. Women's Open, the NCAA National Championship and she was inducted into the Women's Oklahoma Golf Association Hall of Fame in 2006. She was survived by two sons, Craig Collins and David Collins; one brother, Page Belcher, Jr.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives and friends. Her funeral was held at First United Methodist Church with The Rev. Susan Southall officiating.
